Battery Safety​

This product contains a lithium battery. The battery has been tested in accordance with UN38.3 (UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, Subsection 38.3) and IEC 62133-2 (Safety requirements for portable sealed secondary lithium cells and batteries for use in portable applications).

  • Do not use or store this tool where excessive cold, heat or flammable gases are present.
  • If the tool feels hot or is ever damaged, do not charge and immediately safely dispose of the tool.
  • Do not charge or use the tool while unattended.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble, puncture, crush, or modify the battery.
  • Do not expose the battery to fire or excessive heat.
  • Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
  • Use only the charging method described in the Charging and Storage section. Do not charge at a voltage above 5V.

Environmental and Disposal​

This product contains electronic components and a lithium battery. Do not dispose of this product with general household waste. Dispose of the product and its packaging in accordance with local regulations for electronic waste and battery recycling. Do not incinerate. Contact your local waste management authority for disposal and recycling options in your area.
